The last few weeks

Hello everyone

I have been a little slack lately and haven't posted anything - i know im terrible!

I have been so busy. Last weekend was our opening meet at Lockskinners. It was so miserable and wet that i had the lovely breakfast and mulled wine on offer and promptly headed home. harrys parents came down for the weekend which was nice. Sue and i went to a liquidation sale for outdoor and equestrian goods and i managed to pick up a lovely ariat jacket relatively cheap!

On Sunday we headed up to London to see the Annie Leibovitz exhibition. It was really good actually. There were some beautiful photographs. Afterwards we headed back to the flat and picked up the slow roasted lamb i was cooking for dinner guests and caught the late train home - after missing the one we had planned to catch! Becks, Rob and Ben came over for dinner. All in all a very good weekend.

Work at the Equine vets is going well. Endoscoped a Donkey yesterday which was unfortunately found dead this morning from pneumonia. The trials of working with animals!

Well will write again soon - bye for now!

London

Yesterday we went to London. harry had to go to a wedding with his family - which his brothers girlfriend and myself were not invited to - so we went around London for the day instead. Harry and i left about 11.30 and it took us 2 hours to drive 30 miles! Can you believe it. We arrived and Harry quickly got ready. They all jumped in a taxi and headed off to the wedding at Temple Church. Nu and myself - a fellow photographer decided to take a taxi to the church as well and get some pictures. Somehow even though we left after them we managed to beat them there. I spotted my uncle walking down Aldwich on the way - he is currently in the Buddy Holly musical.

After the guests had all gone in we decided to go and have a coffee and some lunch to warm ourselves up. We took a walk along the embankment and found a lovely cafe to rest in! Once our stomachs were full we headed up to Piccadilly for a spot of retail therapy. We were crossing the road and Nu spotted a black range rover and said to me - 'god, how pretentious do you have to be to have the licence plate 'HMS''. I turned to look and it hit me - no not the car! The licence read '0007 HMS' I shouted out to her Its JAMES BOND!!! I looked through the window and there he was - with his bodyguards - Daniel Craig! I am normally not impressed with seeing celebs but this was James Bond.

Harry had told me that while i was there i had to go and experience the Abercrombie and Fitch store. For those of you that havent been.... you need to go. Not for the shopping - you couldn't shop in there. Its like a night club - a very noisy hot night club. You have no be an anorexic supermodel to work there - but the best part is there is a very beautiful half naked man on the door! Nu and i were very impressed!!!

After we had finished our encounter with Bond and eyed up gorgeous men we decided we had had enough of the tourist thing for the day. We went home and watched X-Factor on the couch and stuffed our face with cheese, bread and olives. The best part of the day!!!

My fear has been conquered!

I did it - i finally went hunting today! Well...cubbing but to be honest i prefer that anyway.
I had such a good day. It was so much fun to gallop across the fields to the hounds! i know its a sin but i am so proud of myself - four years i have waited to do this and i have done it! I am bloody knackered though! I'm going to bed!

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. I have been told i have to do this so i have no idea what i am doing! You will have to be patient with me!

I am 21 and i live in West Sussex with my Boyfriend of four years - too long - Harry! We have two dogs Poppy and Pebble. I also have a gorgeous horse called Harvey - who is the biggest pain in the bum ever! We moved here about six months ago and have settled in really well. Harry and i love the countryside. We love shooting and hunting and everything else that goes with it. I am actually going out for my first day hunting on horseback tomorrow. I cant wait.

Other than the countryside i have always had a passion for photography. Since i first ever held a camera i have never put it down and i have been constantly trying to improve my shots ever since. My brother Dominic was forced to give up his business for health reasons a while ago and we decided to take our hobby more seriously. I have reached the age now where all my friends are getting married. Of course i have been to every wedding with my camera clasped tight, waiting for those unforgettable shots. My photographs saved me a lot of money in wedding gifts! I was over the moon when all the couples who saw my shots loved them. They advised me to take my photography seriously and to go in to business.

My brother and i decided to see what the reaction would be from our photographs and we have shot a couple of weddings to see peoples reactions to our work. Thank goodness all feedback has been positive - to date!

Artisan Images was created not long after. We have been going from strength to strength and my brother and myself have never looked back. We are finally doing something that we both enjoy. It allows us to be creative and we have so much fun together - although calling me at all hours of the day about Jeremy kyle has to stop!!!

Having both of us at a wedding, working as a team has brought about fantastic results. Dom has such a brilliant creative eye as well as being very technical minded - something i am still trying to figure out - and i am very good at seeing the female more romantic sides of shots that a man tends to overlook!!!

Well i have rambled enough for now.

will post again soon! Happy Blogging
